It’s a question our guests often ask us: why did we choose the name “Dièse”?

The word refers directly to the musical sharp symbol (♯), which raises a note by a semitone. This choice was no coincidence: from the very beginning, the name was intended to reflect a different identity, more contemporary and distinctive than that of a traditional hotel.

Located on Rue de Charonne in Paris’s 11th arrondissement, Dièse Hôtel Bastille was created with a simple idea in mind: to offer a welcoming, authentic Parisian hotel with a personal touch, right in the heart of the Bastille neighbourhood.

In Paris, time is often the biggest challenge when it comes to business travel.

A meeting may be moved just a few streets away, a metro line may slow down your next journey, and a carefully planned day can quickly fall behind schedule. To avoid being caught off guard by these unexpected delays, good organization starts well before you arrive in the capital.

Grouping meetings by area, allowing for travel time between each stop, and building a few extra minutes into your schedule can help you stay flexible throughout the day.

The goal is not to fill every minute of your schedule, but rather to leave enough room for the unexpected and keep your day manageable.
